Currently, Comcast's revenue rose 18% to $26.86 billion from the company's recent acquisition of Sky, the European pay-TV giant. Also, it was boosted by a 10% rise in Comcast's high-speed internet revenue adding 375,000 customers in the last period. I think that if Comcast wants to maintain this growth they have to enter into the streaming competition. Adding this feature will also influence a gain of more high-speed internet customers. The amount of people subscribing for cable is dropping drastically, and the only way for Comcast to keep growing is by making some changes. Nowadays, people are on their phones the majority of the time and if Comcast keeps providing great internet service, then many people will switch to their company.
