From Beer to Casinos, Businesses Turn to Solar, Wind Power

From Beer to Casinos, Businesses Turn to Solar, Wind Power

Invenergy’s wind farm project in Texas.

Wind and Solar power investment grew by 13% in 2017 to 2018 up to $16 billion.

People are now started to realize the world is actually warming with 73% of Americans voting, the highest result in a decade. Corporations are now thinking about making the switch over to the more environmentally safe option for two major reasons. One is that a companies image is everything and now that the world is aware of global warming a firm must show that they are willing to limit greenhouse gases, carbon emissions etc.

Companies have started focusing on advertisement campaigns, Budweiser produced a Super Bowl ad this year with their Clydesdale horses walking past a number of wind turbines. With this new approach they are showing the whole of America, and anyone else watching the Super Bowl that they are moving with the times meaning that they are willing to acknowledge the transformation from harmful choices of energy to new, safer choices.

Moving forward, if corporations want to succeed in this generation, their reputation will have to be second to none, their is no room for bad publicity anymore with the increase in pressure groups etc
