Apparently, not every "bucket-list" beach has been discovered or at least made popular by social media. The following article discusses how so many people visit the same places and seeing the same places over and over again gets boring. Out of all the water on this Earth, there has to be somewhere no one or at least a very small amount of people have gone to. It starts with one person posting pictures and the next is already on their way there. According to, " The Best Beach Towns You’ve Never Heard Of " article, by Kirsten Luce, these are a few of the many "unspoiled stretches of sand to get to before everyone else does", Tayrona National Park in Cabo San Juan, Colombia, Pego Beach, Comporta, Koufonisia, Greece, The Anantara Resort in Bazaruto, Mozambique, Todos Santos, Mexico and Lake Baikal.

As a college student, exploring new places to travel is something that has begun to spark more interest in me and I am sure in plenty of other college students as well. In college, I have come to realize that although a lot of my time is taken up by studying for exams and doing homework, now, is the prime time to do some exploration. College students are free from the stressful duties that college calls for; during the summer, and most are free of any duties, allowing more time for them to enjoy their youth, traveling and experiencing new things. One could agree that they would rather experience new things at a new place rather than somewhere that has been posted way too many times for example, the beaches of California.
In this article, these beaches are depicted beautifully in what seem to be professionally taken photos. Not only do these pictures work in persuading viewers to visit these beaches but so do their descriptions. The descriptions consist of words that describe the beaches in a vivid way. For example, the author describes Tayrona National Park as follows, "...with its twin horseshoe bays filled with warm emerald water and primeval rock piles... a cluster of jungle huts overlooking the water. It’s a rustic take on luxury, where the sea breeze subs in for air conditioning..." These descriptions are bound to spark ones' curiosity and bring business to these places. Small businesses like restaurants and bars would definitely benefit from this article through all the new business this article will bring.

  1. Great article! It's crazy to see how there are so many gorgeous places that we haven't even thought about. Articles like these are great to market a certain touristic area too.

  2. Totally agree! That is the benefit and beauty of having articles like this because they introduce the world with things that no one or a few people have seen or know. Also, having descriptions that spark interest and curiosity are very beneficial, since they are bound to attract tourists and businesses that will make these beaches grow and expand in attractions.
