Apple Music uses Taylor Swift as a Hook

With an increase in the popularity of streaming live concerts, apple has decided to use one of the most popular pop princesses of the current day and age Taylor Swift to lure in users.  Taylor's latest concert "1989" will be available to stream exclusively on apple music.  Apple also will sell Taylor Swift themed gift cards to promote this as well.

A major reason apple is putting such an important focus on these is biggest there are such a plethora of music streaming services available nowadays and this is a way for them to set themselves apart from the rest of the pack of Amazon music streaming, Spotify, YouTube, and so many more.

Though there is no telling how effective this campaign will be, it is a very smart move in that few people will be able to draw in more fans than Taylor Swift who has 73 million likes on Facebook, 67 million likes on twitter, and 59 million followers on Instagram.

Apple Music currently has 8 million people paying for this service vs S
potify which has 20 million paying subscribers.
