      Everyone is aware of the 1999 movie called Smart House and how it was about a fully automated house that was controlled by a computer. Though this was only a movie in 1999, this could become a reality in the near future. Samsung Electronics company is placing their bets that the new domain to be transformed by technology will be homes. There will be programmable objects in your home and a network of smart appliances.
      Products are already in the making for the smart home, some examples of which are Alexa and Google Assistant which made it possible to put artificial intelligence in everyday home devices. Samsung has an advantage in this area because they sell a variety of products from phones, refrigerators, and TVs which will all be a part of the smart home.
      Samsung can greatly benefit from this since they do sell so many appliances and would be able to market their appliances better since people would want to integrate this artificial intelligence into their homes. Because of what happened last year with the phone battery, they are trying to come back and this is a perfect way to do it however timing is important when products come out so samsung will wait for the right time. So keep a watch out, because pretty soon your house will be able to do anything.
