A senior Islamic State lieutenant who helped finance its operations in Southeast Asia was likely killed by Philippine forces, the military said, days after the deaths of two others who led the bloody occupation of  Philippine city. At the first look this might not look related to marketing but one of the very bases of marketing is in direct correlation with external environment.
If we look at the Philippines government as an incorporation it might be easier to understand this this concept as the whole country and the industries and businesses within it it working towards a goal that put them in an advantage rather than disadvantage of the competitors (other nations). The government as an external factor makes the market more feasible for financial activities and this is an example that how with monitoring the environment, evaluating the situation and fixing the problems can work.
