The relation of the updates of Xbox One to marketing is that the Corporation targets at not only hardcore gamers but also who want easy access to TV shows and movies since customers are becoming less independent from cable services. These features are competitive advantages that Microsoft developed to compete with its direct competitors – PlayStation 4 from Sony.

  1. Sony with its PlayStation 4 has also introduced PS now which is an online streaming for games. They have uploaded a library of over 300 games including old time classics from the 90's. You just need to subscribe just like any other service and get access to so many games. Microsoft I believe has to come up with different ideas to catch up with Playstation.
