Wal-Mart Shifts on Black Friday

Wal-Mart says stores will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving again, but will scale back on door-buster sales.Walmart executives are growing away from Black Friday. They are opening the doors at 6pm on Thanksgiving day, but are also going to extend the low prices throughout the season. This corporation predicts the long term discounts will promote less confused for the customers.

Walmart is looking back at their previous market strategy, quantitative and qualitative opportunities, to better their company.  They look at surveys and statistics revolving the shoppers and what their needs are.

The new strategy of Walmart includes getting rid of the deep and chaotic Black Friday sells, and instead offering low prices through each seasons, such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and so on.

I always thought Black Fridays gave a person the rush to go shopping, hunting down the good deals. It is supposed to be chaotic and crazy. If that is what people want, should Walmart really try to diminish this, in its own way, Holiday.
