This article was interesting because this testing is quite important for the environment that we live in, and the testing is more foolproof than the testing that goes on right now. In the article, it talks about a plan coming to mind about emissions testing for a more real life experience, rather than testing in a laboratory where everything is controlled. The plan proposed was for car manufacturers to do emissions testing for their new vehicles on a real life road, rather than in a laboratory. The idea is to get a more real test and result from the car driving on every day conditions and to make it harder for cars to pass certain emission regulations.

This article was relevant to the things we learned in class because it goes with the development of a product. Many different companies have different goals. Some are aimed at making a quality product that will last long, and others are more interested in just making more sales.
