The 10-Year Plan to Make Cadillac Cool Again

Cadillac is making plans to be known in the luxury segment again. The company has decided to hire a new president for the company, Mr. Johan de Nysschen. Nysschen is known for taking companies from the bottom all the way to the top. He is known for revising companies such as, Audi and infinite. Nysschen notes that this plan to separate Cadillac from the General Motors company is going to be a long one. Nysschen has already made the decision to move there headquarters to Manhattan, New York. Nysschen's main goal is to make Cadillac viewed on the level of BMW and Mercedes. 

With Nysschen in control of Cadillac now, over the next couple of years we will start to see some changes made to company. With this new plan in place the company has come to recognize there target market and how they want change. Nysschen has also stated how they want to change there promotion within the four P's. Like many other companies, Cadillac, with the help of Nysschen, understand the opportunities in there changing market.

  1. I remember that Cadillacs use to be everyone's dream car when I was growing up, and it just slowly started to die off as I grew older, and now I really do not hear anything about Cadillacs. I am curious to see whether this plan by the new president will work.
