Clinton Email Scandal Continues

Pagliano Granted Immunity in Clinton Email Probe

Bryan Pagliano, former technology staffer for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 Presidential campaign, is currently a person of interest in the Hillary Clinton email scandal and is being granted immunity by the FBI in exchange for his cooperation. Bryan set up the former Secretary of State’s private email server in her private home in New York City.  In case you are not up to date on this matter, Mrs. Clinton knew this was illegal and could face several years in prison (but probably will not). Not to mention, there was classified information on the private email server, and although the emails were not labeled "top Secret," the information in the emails was still classified information. It has rumored that many of Clinton's employee's possessed the password for the private email server and passed it around very casually. It is shocking to me that Clinton would make such an amateur decision. Opinions to the side, what you need to know is that Clinton mixed her personal emails with her work emails on her private server that Bryan Pagliano created for her, which is why he is a person of interest in this case. Bryan Pagliano has previously invoked his right to the Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination in refusing to testify against the matter. Basically, the FBI is making progress in getting the information they need in the Clinton email scandal, and have zoned in on Mr. Pagliano since he is the one that setup Clinton’s private email server in her home. If I were Bryan Pagliano, I would most definitely cooperate with authorities, especially since he could go to prison for a long time. This relates to our marketing class because politics and legal issues are one aspect of the external environment that can affect the group that you are marketing to.

  1. Prison might be better than what the Clinton's would do with you. I'm curious to see how much he cooperates, interesting article!
