Google Project Fi: A New Approach in Telecommunication

Google made a bold move to introduce it's new telecommunications service know as project fi. Google is known currently for being the largest search giant in the world. when it introduced the mobile operating system Android it was a real break through. This new approach to the consumer wireless business side is something to note. The question that most of the consumers ask is what is so different about this wireless service. Well project fi uses both T-mobile and Sprint towers and changes its signal strength, by choosing the strongest signal strength. The major wireless service providers in US are AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint. AT&T and T-mobile uses GSM technology and Verizon and Sprint uses CDMA technology, therefore project fi uses both GSM and CDMA technology thus providing the average consumer the best signal strength.
When seeing on how much we pay for the this service is actually good when compared to other wireless service provider. $20 for unlimited calls and text in US, Unlimited International text; then you'll pay $10 for 1 GB of data, and it increases by the amount of data you choose. The best thing about the data is that you'll pay for what you use. if you use 1.5 GB of data you'll be charged $15.
Project Fi is launched only in the US right now, but Google has plans to launch is worldwide soon. Though project fi seems like a good option in the wireless service it also has it downfalls. Project Fi is available on invite basis and it will only work on the new nexus devices which are android phones made by Google. I believe that in future Google will be able to provide is wireless service to all the phones so that we as average consumers can get the best out there for the right price.
