Despite challenges, auto maker is stick to its upbeat outlook for the year; shares rise 4.5% on better-than-expected results

This article is having some trouble with branding issues since the fall out of Volkswagen and EPA standards have really hit the product maker hard. Though the main corporate of this slowdown is in part of the slowing of China economy, in where branding has had very little effect on the issue of VW. But the strange thing about this financial analyst are a bit shock because even though the company the sale are low their company share are up,
Though analyst is bit skeptical but they have said they will take some optimism in the mist of slowing. This optimism might be short lived due to the uncertainties of the trade policies of US and China including the threat that China plans to slash subsidies for any new car purchase which would add pressure for a demand that VW isn’t prepared. https://www.wsj.com/articles/volkswagen-earnings-dented-by-diesel-woes-china-11556782420

  1. I know Germany’s VW was praised before the scandal because of the engineering their cars had. Anyone who owned a VW enjoyed the drive and would have positive things to say. Yet now they are constantly being questioned.
