Apple Music Is Now Half Price for Students
In order to compete with Spotify and Tidal, Apple has
decided to offer Apple Music for 4.99$ a month, half of its regular price of
9.99$. But here’s the catch, this plan is only offered to college and
university students for 4 years, which is better than its main competitor “spotify”
who only offers the student discount for 12 months. Apple will verify whether the user is a student or not
using a service called Unidays, which is used by major retailers like Urban
Outfitters and levis to give students discounts. Apples student discount is currently
available in the U.S, U.K, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Australia, and New
Zealand.
Awesome, more competition, now students will have more options to choose from online streaming service.
