Comparable sales at Victoria’s Secret were flat from a year ago


Who would of ever figured that Victoria secrets competition was bath and body works. Victoria secrets sales on sportswear has risen higher than expected by the company and are expecting similar results for that upcoming months. They have a great product idea of the “bralettes”—bras without underwire and padding—will drive growth. The target market for the PINK collection focuses on the younger and mid-age women. The Pink collection has great recognition for is brand but the main product that was for its focus “lingerie” is not bringing in the sales as expected but they are not worried since the VS collection brings in the sales for that. I feel that the Victoria Secrets market growth is trending (its Hot in the market) its product cost is average and not as over price compared to other high end lingerie brands. Since Victoria Secret does sell lotions and body sprays, they are in completion with Bath & Body works but because Bath & Body works main focus is Fragrances and candles their sales have rose in a more significant way than that of Victoria Secrets. This are all wonderful products that will have a long life cycle (you will)go see it yourself.
