Facebook has once again impressed us with its new launch of “Facebook at Work”. This new application is targeting companies big or small introducing them to a business messaging tool. Even though there is an array of competition on this field Facebook seems more than confident they will strive ahead. They
are assured of this since they believe that everyone is capable of using this
tool without further knowledge or skills that will benefit the company or
business. Facebook has an advantage since they can market themselves on their
own social media and even though this product comes with a charge companies
that have already got their hands on it really enjoy it, the cost is based per
individual in the business. They are aware of their completion such as Outlook,
emails, and Hangout (4c’s company & competition). And even though this is a
new product development for Facebook it is not a new product for companies.
Facebook has an advantage based on its simplicity that people prefer which allows
me to think this product may have a long life cycle. This neat product allows employees
to interact with each other while at work on this application and at the same
time a nice benefit for the employer to know is that the application can only
be access by employs and cannot be accessed with their personal accounts so if
they are using their personal accounts they can’t see what’s going on at work,
another benefit is that the employ does not have to have a Facebook page to be a
part of this. This product will take a little education to the consumer for
them to know how they will benefit from it, but once the consumer is educated
this product should be hot in the market giving the customers satisfaction.
I do think this is a neat invention by Facebook although i am wondering what the fee paid by the company to use this "secured" messaging site covers? I see that only employees can sign into the account but what about the fee is promising to the company? Couldn't they just use whats app for a group messaging chat?

Its getting hard to turn around without the influence of FB being the gold standard of Social Media. I wonder how business minded social networks such as LinkedIn are going to react as they're surely feeling territorial issues with this news.
