Kellogg's Growing Large
Kellogg's has gone out of it's way again to expand and sell cereal in other countries. This business move is due to "prepackaged food facing sluggish growth in the U.S." as stated by Austin Hufford of the WSJ. That being said, Kellogg's hope is to continue to expand into other countries and sell their product to a growing population.
Kellogg's has thought ahead, and though this is not the first time they go out of their way to buyout a snack maker in a foreign country, this is likely to become a more consistent action as expected sales continue to decline in the U.S..
Nice article, keep it up.
