McDonald’s Turns to Social Media to Draw Millennials





Mcdonalds is one of the most successful fast food chains if not the most successful.  But recently there has been a disconnect with the younger generations.  Millennials are becoming increasingly healthier there for they have not been eating at mcdonalds as much.



To combat this problem Mcdonalds has hired over 200 millennials to take over its social media department.  They are using these teams to deal with customer complaints, generate new ideas, and make a new face for this company.


The workers that mcdonalds hired were members of Amazons team and paypal holdings team. They decided to go after people who had been in the pioneering companies of this social media era.
