Covid-19 has had a large impact on the market which has brought upon a massive change. Many businesses, that haven't been able to adapt to this crisis, have been forced to shut down. Others, however, are taking their business online. For example, car dealerships have been pushing to reduce the contact they have with their customers while still providing amazing services by allowing customers to easily purchase and finance a vehicle through a website. Although dealerships are not the first to go online, Covid-19 has clearly caused a change in many markets and how they do business.
I chose this article because I am interested to see whether the crisis that we are facing today will help many services go online and how this will change markets all over the world.
This article relates to marketing because it shows how different markets are adapting to satisfy their customers' needs. This deals with customer service. Moreover, this shows that the internet is the future and this can affect how we conduct online marketing.
