The Coronavirus pandemic that the entire world has been experiencing
throughout these past months has led 3.28 million Americans to file for
unemployment benefits during the month of March. Many have been even more
stressed out now than when they had a job, because as we are approaching April
many are aware that there are bills which will have to be paid off. Considering
all this, congress has passed a $2 trillion rescue plan to help businesses keep
their employees on payrolls. Although this aid will be of great help to some
there are still doubts if the aid will be enough to get everyone through.
This article caught my attention because although I am relieved
that congress has offered this aid for Americans, as a first-generation student
I am extremely concerned for those who are not eligible. During these difficult
moments there are millions of businesses and families throughout the entire world
who are economically impacted by this pandemic.
Allowing everyone to receive some type of aid will ensure
that everyone gets through these difficult times. When looking into the
marketing aspect of this, this bill will relieve some threats that
companies are currently experiencing especially with keeping their place where employees produce their products. But not all small businesses are owned or
founded by Americans so this stimulus bill will assist a portion of our people,
but it will not relieve our entire economy.
Hi Edith,
ReplyDeleteI really like your post and the article you used. This is a very important topic especially during this time, many households are affected by nit being to work and that is unfair that they are unable to get the same aid as others.
