As seen from the title, the U.S. Olympic Committee is postponing the athletes event due to the concern of the corona-virus. This is interesting because the Olympic Committee itself is considering shutting down the Olympics itself or moving it to a quarantined location. It's also similar to what the U.S sport associations like the NBA, MLB, NHL, and MLS are proposing to the world. There's potential that all those leagues are going to play in stadiums with no fans to prevent the spread of the virus. The Olympics committee should consider continuing on with the events and matches but without any fans/spectators watching it in order for the people at home to watch. The audience still want to enjoy the Olympics so we wouldn't mind them competing in places with no fans watching.
