U.S. Steps Up Coronavirus Fight

New York set up the country's first containment area around one of the largest clusters of cases in the US. College students will not be returning to campus to help and control the spread of the virus this spring. The democrats are cancelling rallies in Ohio many people are now being affected by this virus not just in China but all around the world. There are 808 confirmed cases of the coronavirus. The containment area in Westchester County is a suburb of New Rochelle will close major gathering places for two weeks starting on Thursday. Restaurants and businesses will remain open. This suburb has roughly 108 cases and many people in quarantine is the largest cluster in the US making it very unique because we have not seen this many cases anywhere else. Chinese President Xi Jinping has gone to Wuhan which was the outbreak city of the epidemic showing that conditions have improved. US airlines will be cutting more flights. March is a big month for sporting events that may not be able to happen. Also, college students are being sent home and continuing classes online after the break. 14 US states have declared states of emergency.
