This article was very interesting regarding a prospective acquisition between Intuit and Credit Karma. Intuit know for personal financing, helps customer with their taxes, bookkeeping, and finance management, at a low cost. Credit Karma has similar business qualities. They help customer manage their credit score by providing tracking, recommendation, and guidance, for free. Both companies are excellent in what they do and are both valued into the billions. With this acquisition Intuit would hold another branch for an individuals personal financing need. This would benefit both companies and their customers because with Intuit’s personal financing information and Credit Karma credit information obtained, they would be able to recommend better options for their customers. In addition, Credit Karma would still be able to keep their current CEO, Kenneth Lin. I would be very interested in keeping up with these companies’ possibilities in a merger, being that I currently use both products.
