Summary:
Amazon is changing their technology for their "Go" technology. This week in Seattle they are opening up a whole store. They are going to use their camera technology to watch their customers and get charged to their amazon account based on what they grab. Amazon is launching this store to show how technology is changing.
Amazon can use this technology to track how they want to restock the store and customers tendencies.
Amazon delivery has also been expanding with Whole Foods. This is helping convince to customers and delivering them fresh foods efficiently and affectively. This is leading other competitors like Target and Walmart to start delivery efforts of groceries.
I have personal experience with going to one of their "Go" small corner store's in San Francisco. There was no one at the store checking people out. When you walk into the corner store you scan your amazon account on your mobile device, then you grab what you want. They are watching you on the camera and then when you leave it is automatically charged to your amazon account.
This new idea is changing how customers feel about their privacy. Since they are being watched and tracked by Amazon on what they purchase, Amazon will have this private information. This is causing some customers to be hesitant about accepting this new technology that Amazon has to offer.
