North Korea Deepens Isolation Amid Virus Threat
The world is currently dealing with an epidemic that originated in China called the corona virus. Many scientists and researchers believed that the corona virus might have came from the SARS virus that china was previously experimenting on. This article goes into detail about how the country of North Korea is handling this situation concerning the virus. North Korea has banned any foreign tourists and has completely cut trade partnership with China. This is relevant because they decided to cut ties with one of the biggest trade partners in the world and they might not be the only ones that are going down this path. The North Korean papers claimed this situation as "national survival" and are doing their best to isolate themselves from the outside world specifically china which is ironic considering they are the most isolated country before all of this.

The article offers very good insight on the issues the virus is causing. The epidemic is being contained with deep deep isolation, and Korea has made the right move to act quickly by blocking all tourism and trade. However, by blocking themselves from the world is bound to have some negative impact on North Korea.
