Sprint, T-Mobile Revise Merger Terms

We used to live in a country in which there was only one giant landline monopoly that provided for everyone. Now we have four competitive cell companies that provide for everyone which are T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon. With AT&T and Verizon being each other competitors and the top two cell phone providers, T-Mobile and Sprint were being left behind in the market. Now both cell companies have agreed to merge together in being able to create a company closer in size to Verizon and AT&T. With that, T-Mobile would be able to have more than 90 million U.S. customers and will try to take some from Verizon and AT&T. I chose this article because it caught my attention in how even rival companies will come together and target the bigger companies. It also shows the strategy that both T-Mobile and Sprint have to do in order to compete with the other two big cell companies.
