Coronavirus Emerging in China

The new epidemic that started in Hubei, China has reached over 24 countries and has over 6 million people in quarantine. The fear of spreading this new virus has stopped people companies from distributing goods to certain countries, and some of goods contain supplies the help prevent the virus.
How deadly is this virus? Scientist say that this virus is not as deadly as a similar virus known as SARS (Severe acute respiratory syndrome). Though, they are still unsure of how the Coronavirus now known as SARS-CoV-2, is spread. Overall, the disease has killed only 2% of people infected, not because of how deadly the virus is, but because they already have another illness present such as diabetes. People should not be as worried about the coronavirus because it usually causes mild flu-like symptoms, but it can be transmitted through humans and also animals. Scientist say that the disease is most likely spread through droplet formation which is either by coughs or sneezes. Symptoms of SARS-Cov-2 virus would be flu-like symptoms that develop in the lower respiratory system. So coughs, aches, and shortness of breathe could all be considered symptoms. People become ill with the infection within 2-14 days, but also there is a chance that you could get the virus from a person who isn't showing symptoms yet. China has now created a quarantine area in Wuhan, and are also quarantining/isolating people who are traveling from and to China for 14 days prior to the flight. There is a low chance that the virus can spread to America and scientist are trying to create a test and drug to recognize the virus and treat the virus as well. Overall, the virus cannot be spread by goods from China and there is a very low chance of the virus affecting people in America.
