Snapchat Inc. will soon feature quick original shows. The shows will target younger ones, and major media companies such as NBC, BBC, ESPN and others have already signed up deals with the emerging social media platform. Snapchat plans to have two or three shows each day by the end of this year, and they will be displayed in the section "stories". The shows will be three to five minutes long, which will encourage users to use the app even more.
Relevance to Marketing
On chapter 3, we talked about the importance of evaluating opportunities in the changing market environment. Such change is essential because innovative companies stay in the market and drive out of the market those that do not innovate. Snapchat is a prime example of a company that keeps innovating, which will keep their customers interested, engaged and satisfied.

I think, while the idea isn't totally original, it could be a great idea and way for Snapchat to grow and reach a larger demographic.
