The coronavirus has taken a huge toll in the deaths of older people and has affected nursing homes 10,000 owners of nursing homes are saying that they are still struggling to get the testing that they need to be done. Testing helps detect people who are ill from the sickness and to help curb the outbreak. Many health departments are reporting fatalities linked directly to older people housing who are often frail in health and are very vulnerable to this particular virus. Some cities are falling behind in reporting their data like Ohio and Washington state but WSJ has found at least 10,783 fatalities among more than 35 states.
