Stimulus Checks during COVID-19
College students financial relief
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have all been affected either emotionally, financially, or mentally. Stimulus checks have been making their way towards the U.S. citizens who qualify. College students that are claimed as dependants will not be receiving anything and neither will their parents. Most college students and adults living with their parents will not be receiving a check although they are taxpayers.
Students who work and go to school are feeling ignored by the government and won't be receiving any help. This problem is not only a personal opinion of mine but based on other college students' opinions as well. We make enough to maintain ourselves, but not to live on our own and pay rent. And parents won't be receiving anything for helping their sons and daughters.
It all seems confusing, but college students hope to get their normal lives back and be able to receive some financial help from the government.
