The worst part about crawfish farmers being affected by covid-19 is that crawfish is only seasonal. It is not as if once this is all over they can somehow boost up their business. By the time this whole virus thing is over crawfish season will be long gone and they will have to wait until the following year. I got to experience the impact Corona had on the sale of crawfish first hand. This past weekend I was in line to buy some crawfish at one of the most popular spots on my side of town. To my surprise the line was pretty short and it was moving fast. This emphasizes how the sales are low this year for crawfish.
