Now the company just purchased "Hotel Tonight" to widen their market to know show hotels. Hotel Tonight is known for their last minute deals when you decide to vacation last minute or need a hotel tonight. Airbnb noticed that their net value and their customer base keeps increasing yearly, so they decided to purchase Hotel Tonight to widen airbnb's target market.This move airbnb made can be a great marketing tactic in that they have now widen their customer base through Hotel Tonight and now they widen their target market to now offer Hotels. Buy buying Hotel Tonight Airbnb now doesn't have to start from scratch in developing their own program for hotels. They instead bought an existing company that already had everything together and with a large customer base. This move most likely saved airbnb millions.
