Why Buy Tesla When You Can Buy a Tesla?


If you follow Elon Musk’s robot taxi vison, buy the car instead of the stock! Tesla will be launching a new product, the on-demand robot taxis of self-driving vehicles. According to the WSJ it will give the cars a net present value of about $200,000. Yet, the tesla cars start about 20% of the sum. According to Mr. Musk he claims that owners will be able to earn “passive income” when they put their cars into commercial service. That compares favorably with Tesla shares because of their loss of 20% of their value this year.

    Wow Lucy, great find! This move by Teslas, Elon Musk is going to be something special. I cannot imagine a robot taxi, this is revolutionary.

    Very interesting article! I cannot begin to imagine what it will be like to have robot taxis. I'm sure problems will arise, as will occur with any new technology, but this is a great positive step for not only Tesla and Elon Musk, but also for the entire technology industry. With Tesla's stock currently struggling, hopefully this is just the information and innovation it needs to again shoot up.
