Snap's New Redesign of The Redesign: Rising Revenues

     
           Millennial loves Snapchat. Launching first time in 2011, Snap Inc. is growing and being a part of Snap's core users daily life. In the past 8 years, Snap Inc. app has been through some major redesigns to bring the best quality for the users. However, the biggest crisis update version, which was happened in 2018, caused the company's loss from $385.8 million to $310 million in the first quarter. Snap separated the messages and content from outside from outside parties on the app that annoyed the users. It was the worst crisis that Snap Inc. have ever faced when people posted tons of complaints on Twitter about the new change.

This year, as Mr. Spiegel said “We are excited to see the early results of some of the investments we made in 2018 and prior years," Snap Inc. presents a redesign of the redesign, Snap Inc. develop another version with a less malfunctioned in the Android devices as well as bringing users and advertisers back. The new redesign brings company's revenue rise 39% in the first quarter from $230.7 million last year. Furthermore, Snap's average revenue per user also increases 34%. They actual take the users' feedback to improve the product to the level of customer's needs.
